I am an Aeronautical Engineer by training, having completed my masters’ degree in 2019. Along side my work at ClimateOrb I am working towards my PhD in Experiment Environmental Fluid Mechanics with a focus on pollutant dispersion in urban environments and urban heat islands. In my role as a Mechanical Engineer I have been involved in the mechanical design of the PriDa, leaf, and JamPac air quality sensors for the company, with PRiDA being our market ready product. ClimateOrb’s focus has been on indoor air quality for the most part up to this point. The next stage of my work is using UAV technologies, using my experience from three previous projects during my degree and experience in this field, to provide outdoor air quality measurements to help expand the platform further to inform people of their environment. As October 2020, I have undertaken the role of UK co-ordinator where I manage our activities and product interests in the UK.

Davida works closely with the CEO and CMO to advise on and produce material for ClimateOrb’s platform that reflects the company’s core values.
Davida works within product positioning and marketing at ClimateOrb. Her experience researching climate science, environmental issues and climate change psychology allow her to craft consumer content, as well as streamline internal product missions.
Since gaining her bachelor’s degree in Geography at the University of Sussex, she has returned to pursue a masters in Climate Change, Development and Policy alongside her work with ClimateOrb.

Drawing on two years experience working as a campaign organiser for sustainable initiatives, Cara’s role is centered around partnership building and business expansion within the UK market.
