On the 9th of August 2019, our Shenzhen based team held a stall at the internationally recognised Slush event in Pingshan.
The event was an opportunity to connect and network with other local entrepreneurs, while also gaining insight from successful tech industry experts such as Peter Vesterbacka, who featured as one of this years lead speakers.
We were able to meet with other local startups and gage feedback on our first generation hardware devices, while also advertising our pledge scheme. Through the pledge scheme, we hope to empower individuals to foster change in their local environments. For example, through creating recycling banks at work, becoming vegetarian or car pooling, all individuals can reduce their carbon footprint. In the long term, these type of pledges will be logged to the ClimateOrb platform, creating incentives for individuals to start pledges and campaigns. In this way, users will be rewarded for their efforts, through our blockchain based currency.
